Graphic Union line-up

Marissa Gemma (editor) is a reader, writer, and teacher in San Francisco and Palo Alto. Her consuming interests are food, bicycling, books, the nineteenth century, and the history of literary style.

Carl Larson (editor) advocates for liveable cities and intelligent design in Portland, Oregon. As a New Englander by birth, however, he writes footnotes with a Yankee sensibility.

Cara Manes (editor) spends most of her days and many of her evenings at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. In the early morning she prefers to sit on her balcony in Queens, reflecting on art, life, and books.

Allison Stielau (editor) is reader, writer, and teacher in New York City and New Haven, Connecticut. She is also the premier American collector of hotel stationery, inscribed jewelry, and useful advice.

Elise Hodson (international distributor) curates contemporary design exhibitions and masterminds elaborate parties in Toronto and New York. She devotes the rest of her time to research and dog-rearing.

Anne Callahan (designer) studies, catalogs, makes, buys, and sells books in New York City, and spends the rest of her time outside.
